us express schedule

    Im a recent cdl grad and was offered a position with US Xpress out of Shippensburg Pa doing a P&G account.I live local and I was told that it would be a local route with daily home time. Its a 5 1/2 work week with time off every other weekend. I still couldn't get a straight answer on how the schedule works. Also they said that it averages $1,000 a week, I would assume that was for dedicated and out for 5 days not local. Does anyone have any info about this account or what type of money I'm looking at ?

    I don't know anything about US Xpress but if you go to the home page; about 3 forums down it'll say sub forums, click on that and scroll down to US Xpress and you'll find plenty of reading.

    We work at US Xpress but don't know anything about that other than P&G is a high value account. USX has to pay a fine if the load is late.

    Can you please explain the 5 1/2 work week with daily home time ?? The only thing the recruiter would tell me is that I would get every other weekend off....sounded like she didn't know or didn't want to tell me...Thank you.

    It just sounds like alot of money and a great schedule....almost to good to be true.

    Thats their new account IIRC ,not much is known about it . Generally speaking they will bring you home for your 34, so expect only one real day home.


    You should expect getting home at 10pm on a friday and leaving again 6am on a sunday.

    I live about 20 miles from shippensburg and the recruiter said I would get daily home time...I just wish they could clarify what the exact schedule was before I commit.
