Yeh, you probably don't live in Atlanta either; probably an expat living in a foreign country...let me guess...Detroit!

Joking with ya! Lots of fuel haulers around Atlanta & probably a good JP hauling job around Atlanta. Sometimes there's diesel hauling jobs fueling trains at the rail yard; I understand they run you hard though.

I put this post in the good carrier forum, after just a few weeks here, that was an error.
Being ping ponged from MI to SC , as if on a dedicated run. All I have seen so far is low pay , almost a throw back to 13 years ago. This truck that does 10 to 25 mph up hills, 40 on overpasses ! SWIFT is now faster than this one horsepower lawn mower. Very displeased with what I have seen so far , this just might be the end of OTR for me. Makes no sense to be out here for $700 to $800 a week . But companies do not see that as bad, just your problem.

The only reason I stayed with SEC was they said better insurance would be offered in November.
Now thats not happening. Looks like all the west USA runs dried up also. I took a big pay cut to come drive for this company. I still like the way they treat me but I am not thrilled here either. I am
going to tell them how I want to customize my time off in a few weeks. Its the only thing that might get me to stick around. I am not much interested in job hopping any more. If you live
near Lawrenceburg TN, this company may be a
good fit for you. I have taken a wait and see whats next attitude with SEC.

South East Carriers is a good company. You made the error going into the office and treating the people there like dirt. Why are you still bashing this company?
My truck does not run like it has a lawn mower engine. I talked with the dispatcher in the office that you had your run in with. Your the problem buddy. You
worked here for what? about 3 days? You claim this company is SWIFT IN RED. I admit the Insurance sucks but all in all this is a very good company to drive for.

As long as SEC is willing to give me the hometime I request when I want it, I will continue to drive for them. I was just out for 12 days and got
home yesterday. I was in Dallas TX, and said I needed to get home to take care of some business. I was home in less than 2 days. I wont go
back till Thursday. If i wanted more time off they wont say anything about it. When i go back they will offer me a choice of multiple loads, none
of which will go to the northeast or east coast. These are the friendliest people I have ever driven for. When I go into the office they address me
by my first name. Hell I dont even know half of there first or last names. I have noticed my miles have dropped off some but thats part of the job.
On average my take home pay is $800+a week. That all I need for myself. Keep looking and sooner or later you may find the job that suits you.
Just remember there are not any perfect jobs, there is always going to be something you dont like about any company...
