Think I figured out why I'm getting redlighted every #### day!!

That quota is strictly a myth. They can pull in as many as they want and right as many as they can. There is no quota limit!

 

After they got my prepass turned on, I've had green bypass lights from California to Oklahoma.

 

I drove for an O/O and a small company that didnt have PrePass so I do know what it is like.....

The thing I sstruggle to understand is why so many drivers need to be condescending or put other drivers down to feel good about themselves....

I have many friends who have been drivers for many many years... but, they are secure in themselves as a person and as a driver that they dont feel compelled to belittle new drivers... in fact they actully take tme to teach or assist new drivers..... but, they are old school and remember when drivers stuck together..

 

I drive for a small outfit out of pa and this happens often. It's generally due to someone in the company getting a ticket or accident that triggers red flags for the dot. Keep your stuff wired tight and you will be in an out. As far as pre pass goes no clue. We don't have them.

 

Mine wasn't working at first. Wouldn't light up red or green. Test button lit the thing up. But nothing else. I finally parked at a scale & went in to ask if they could read anything from it. They said No. I called the office and told them it wasn't working. They said they would order me a new one. On my way out of California, it started working. Maybe someone was on vacation and the account got fouled up.

Got another green light on my way into OK C this morning.

 

I remember doing that at the Knoxville scales. Hold back until the ramp was full then floor it.
