Looking over the T600 I just bought in my signature I found this short section of pipe between the exhaust housing on the turbo and the flex pipe before the main downpipe is cracked at the flange. Any ideas on whether this is a Kenworth or a CAT part?

I found this aftermarket one here, it looks right, can anyone confirm if it would work?

    Thanks!

That pipe that you linked to should work just fine. exhaust piping is usually always a OEM(Kenworth in this case) part.

Basic exhaust piping, just make sure if you get aftermarket that it has the correct flange for the turbo you have.

Normally there's a pyro sensor in that pipe .. Might be a good time to install one if truck doesn't have one

exhaust pieces would be the truck manufacture not to say aftermarket wont work just as well.

put a new clamp on when you replace it rather than re-using the old one.

wow they are quite proud of that piece. the one on my fld is is a lot more complex piece than yours and it was less than half that price from freightliner.
