Location for the night

Flying J in Haubstadt, IN. Headed to Owensboro, KY in the morning to p/u my load home for Wed.

 

I did that Friday. Well, not the staying in Haubstadt part. I dropped off one load and picked up another to get me home in Owensboro.

 

Oh nice. Do you take US 41 from Indiana into Kentucky? How's that scale? The way I'm going will miss it but I'm curious anyway.

 

Lonely rest area in Wyoming, I-25 x128. Quite place tho and 4g lte in the middle of bfe.

 

I do take 41 into Kentucky. I've gotten the red light to pull into that scale once or twice, but I've never had to park or get inspected. Just got to bypass the scale and go right back on the road.

Also, there is a truck stop with a CAT scale in Owensboro. It's the Hillbilly's truck stop at US-60/US-231 headed back toward Indiana. They always have tons of parking, but the Schneider fuel card doesn't work there, and they close at night (only access to a porta-potty).
