As you can see from my name I grew up in freightliners but my grandfather had a kenworth t600! I grew up with cummins engines the new isx motors arent very good. Reccomended if yiu get a freightliner get a 1999 century with a n14 or get a classic xl with a 14 liter.but personally I think the kenworth w'900 are built stronger than any other trucks they cancstand a beating they have bigger cabs if you want a big cab dont reccomend a peterbilt 379 drove one for my friend and it was a 18 speed with a cat c15 If I remeber but I went to the TA and remebered seeing a guy with a 2005 columbia and asked him what he had in it and he said a bad detriot and I reccomended tochim that most of the detriot series leaked alot.

Tell me your favorite truck and engine and if you have any questions about my trucj or what kinda truck I have feel free to

Anything with twin sticks and a cat.

I run a pretty decent truck but I wish I had a Flatop with an 18..

Favorite truck I've driven in the past was a 2006 379exhd at Lonestar. Had a 63" high rise sleeper and a Cat 475 c15 with a 9 speed. Sounded so awesome. I love the smaller cabs peterbilt has.

Current truck that I like driving is the t660s we have. The truck itself is great but the paccar engine has no guts to it for being a 455hp engine

The reason that Paccar is gutless is that your company probably has it cut down on power. How high will it rev? They seem to make their most power at higher rpms. Should rev up to at least 2100 if it isn't cut back.

They aren't cut back, when it gets in the 1500-2100 rpm range it takes off and will accelerate how it should. The problem I have is we have automatic transmissions and they want to keep the truck operating in the 1000-1400 rpm range. So it shifts too soon. When I'm loaded I usually put it in manual mode and keep it in the upper rpm range.

The only truck I love driving is my 2010 freightliner coronado its a 13 speed dd13 just wish that they could still have the cummins n14 in the 2007 trucks and up but its a 70 inch sleeper thats my favorite to drive but far as pulling good but im happy that I have my own truck as im a owner operator and im planning on getting the 2015 freightliner coronado and I love that the back axles look longer now that the tool boxes arent on it but if you want to look at the truck heres the link and if you have any questions message me

@dirtydiesel im scared to drive a tanker but I have my hazmat endorsement the only thing I haul are containers and I wasnt making the good money like my grandpa made when he was driving so I went back to reefer and now the sound is taking me back to the good ol days but the money is good with containers and tankers you just have to remeber you are at risk for killing a lot of people in a container you dont know what your haulin
