You found a pretty good atty, too.
Now that's like hen's teeth.rank Thanks this. -
#### near a reckless op. You had no choice but to fight thais one... Bet your ##### is a wee bit more careful now.... RO is 20 over...

Kind of sad, you did the crime, but because of corruption on both sides, you lined the pockets of a couple of odious scumbags. Hope you feel good about it......won't be long before it will be like in many countries, nothing gets done unless you pay the "authorities." A lot of individuals sitting in abject jails around the world because they do not have the payoff....coming here soon.
Also, if you can only control your speed if the jake is working, please get off the road.... -
That might be one way to look at it. Unless your CDL's on the line. My hunch is that the OP will continue on as a found lucky, still darn good driver, safe for your family to drive near.
A lot of others are not.
We see them every day, following too close, oh, yeah, speeding through construction zones, passing by as you slow down to 55 mph, charging into zero-visibility rain and fog, texting, reading maps, cutting you off as they pass and then slowing down so you hafta go around, play hop-scotch with you, pass stupidly so bottles up traffic behind when they could have let the group of 4-wheelers and a couple faster trucks run through and then pass easily, not road-blocking the pass lane.
Would you really rather the OP hit with a reckless? Doesn't sound like a reckless driver. Things do happen. I'd rather he stay on the road than some I see out there.Last edited: Nov 6, 2014
Moosetek13 and rank Thank this. -
anything over 70 in a 55 is one of the major incidences that you have to report to your home state licensing dept. 3 and you get to have your license suspended for 6 months or 90 days. SLOW DOWN! That is if you are convicted on it...

I see a few of the above that might well apply to you.
I guess in your view, the judicial process should be eliminated and the cops should be the judge and jury. The fact that I was offered a plea was (in case you missed it) because I have zero at fault accidents, zero dollars in insurance claims, and only one ticket in the last 5 years. The plea option that you find so odious is there for just this type of situation. Had my record been worse, plea likely would not have been offered.
