Moose, they will send you to a place a few miles away that's easy to get to and has plenty of room to park bobtail. Follow the written directions they give you. There's a weight restricted bridge on the street to the clinic but its much higher than bt weight. Plus, Swift pays for your physical.
When you get to Lancaster go upstairs and the lady at the desk will give you the paperwork you'll need and the directions page.

Thanks.
Do you know what hours the clinic operates on a Saturday? -
My load from St. Cloud, MN got swapped out for one from Northfield, MN to Salt Lake City. Better deal for me, fewer deadhead miles and more loaded.

Anyone heard from Squeak? Getting worried. His last post was two weeks ago from Goodyear, AZ and he'd been sick for a few weeks and unable to drive.
MysticHZ Thanks this. -
Back out after hometime. At a rest area on I-55 in central MS. Live unload in Louisville Monday AM.
Today was one of those days that tempted me to throw the keys in the truck and walk away. Wasn't in the mood to put up with stupid #### right after home time and I got jacked around by both Swift and the shipper resulting in getting loaded 7hrs late.
I'm beginning to wonder why I put up with general freight and all the BS that goes with it when at this point I could easily get a gig outta Houston pulling regional chemical tankers, stay out of the snow and get home every weekend. I see some decisions coming after Christmas. -
I was told the clinic was open on Saturday, so I went there today.
It was closed. A sign on the door said Monday through Friday...
And I'm now on safety hold, so I'll be sitting here at the Love's for the weekend.
Luckily I was able to get out of the terminal this morning. I'd hate to be stuck there.
And now... choices, choices.
I could either sit here all day tomorrow to get a 34, or I could maybe go see a movie or something.
I'm thinking it would be nice to see a movie on a bigger screen than my laptop.HousTank Thanks this. -
Likewise... My decision is already made. Target date: Jan. or Feb.HousTank Thanks this.

Same reason I opted for the shuttle out of Lancaster, home every day after 8 hours or so driving to Arkansas and back.
I notice some Houston Daycab drivers that make the drive to Lancaster and back to Houston daily. They may have to deliver to the Home Depot DC once in a while.HousTank Thanks this. -
I could never do regional or shuttle work. I just hate driving the same routes all the time.
That was the hardest part about the Target account. It was great money, but I knew I couldn't stay there very long before going totally bonkers.HousTank Thanks this. -
I ran dedicated Target reefers for Swift out of Ft Worth for 3 months and about went nuts. Was very good money and Target did all the fueling, cleaning and prepping of the trailers. What made me go back OTR was the snotty rude apathetic store employees dragging out my stops often to where I didn't have the hours to make it back to the DC. Plus I got tired of trying to find the way in to the back docks of the stores in bad weather and in the dark. I guess I'm a wuss.
Doing a 10 at a rest area just south of Louisville on I-65 for a live unload in the morning. Due to the tight delivery schedule and late loading yesterday for this Hyperfocus customer I had to put the miles down today...637 of them. I'll be there on time.
Have another load to pick up right after that going to Minooka IL, a little west of Chicago. Only 9K lbs and a D/H. Delivers Tuesday morning just in time for the forcasted deep freeze. My first serious taste of winter.
