Limited space for an APU

    I own a Volvo 610 with a lift axle and a wet kit mounted on the cat walk.

    Any suggestions for an APU?

    Seriously. what year and engine, and if I had a Volvo, with the retarder setting to put pressure against the exhaust to keep the engine warmer at low idle I would set it up with a remote start, so that I could shut it off and restart it from a sleeping bag.

    As for space, some have put an APU under the passenger side door, if there is nothing there, but on the newer trucks, there is a DPF , and after treatment device inside a box mounted there, actually, not just on Volvo, either.

    Get a smaller fuel tank, and put it behind there.

    Cut the weed burner off and put the exhaust back to vertical, chopped 14 inches off the tank and squeezed a carrier comfort pro on. Fits good.
