Thanks, Mark. I think it stores the address in a CSV or some other database file. So, it won't be easy to manage this in a Windows environment without some changes to the Dock software.
I've been using my 720 for about 4 months now, and I really have to tip my hat to the software engineers, it has so many useful features, and works pretty efficiently.
Are there any other user forums, other than here and POI factory? I would like to discuss how to change up the icons, such as the folders, maybe add some more, I cannot find the icon files in the unit.

i had the 710 and purchased the lifetime update chip... after a bit the unit crashed because of map licensing and RM replaced the unit with a 720 at no charge since the 710 could not be updated and crashed...
unfortunately i had purchased a 720 before they gave me a replacement.. the 720 is still working great but obviously map updates would be helpful.
I see guys running the 710 unit still but they have never updated them... -
I wish Rand would let the unit update over the air / over WIFI instead of having to dock it. It reminds me of when you had to plug in your iPhone to a computer to backup or update, it wasn't that long ago but in tech terms it was a lifetime ago! Is the hardware any better on the 730 vs the 720? The 720 was far better than the 710 but my 720 is now giving problems connecting to my Verizion MIFI, it will connect to my wife's phone but I have the grandfathered in unlimited plan and can't use my phone as a hotspot so I'm not getting any benefit from the weather or the traffic that I paid for. I'm at the point of getting a new gps but am now unsure what to buy. I have always liked the features of the rand but am getting tired of the junk hardware, nickel and dime you for everything plans and even worse customer service, I will probably go to a different gps manufacturer if anybody has a good truck gps to recommend?
aimhigh Thanks this. -

I was bashed in a thread when I told them the 720 doesn't have the newest maps and haven't been updated in a year. But they swear the 720 and 730 are on the same maps. Confused.
