    I have a question for ya. Does a small fleet that's leased to a carrier need a business license in order to hire drivers from various states?

    u need 2 check with ur state on regulations then u need 2 check with the carrier ur with on weather or not they will allow u 2

    are you leased on with your own authority?
    if it is their plates insurance etc
    the carrier has to approve any of your drivers
    hence their responsibility
