    Keep away there's no showers fuel is more expensive than in minooka,il 5 miles away.pilot goes half on how much trucks channahon police stop from turning left between 6am and 7pm.so you have to go10miles to go back on to I 55 and they will tow your truck if park unattended .park my truck for 2 day when I got back jerks towed it $1,300 bucks and almost got arrested .and they also make a profit on that

    The other stuff, I'll agree with. The part about your truck getting towed after parking it there and taking home-time for 2 days? Kudos to the Pilot store manager..

    you make a good point, parking is real scarce there to hog a spot for hometime,
    he could park next door at the hotel or bar and pay to park

    parked for 2 day at a truckstop and went home,,did you check with the manager about extended parking..Not real smart fella,,$1300 lesson,,park at your company terminal or at your home,,,

    the one in Minooka also blows. fuel island is often stacked 2 or three deep and tiny lot with trainees trying to back in all the time blocking those exiting the fuel islands.

    No offence but no wonder most of you guys get fck on this pilot.i do pay monthly parking I'm only 5 miles away from this pilot and only reason I park there was cause I had truck issues.never have I fuel or stop there same reason that I see how channahon police fcks all truck drivers .

    I run early and run out of hours early, and have been there, but mostly because I wanted to try a Dunkin Doughnuts at a Pilot. I ran lower than I wanted to, so I put fuel in there, and found parking for 8 or 10 hours. The nearest way back to the Interstate system is Empress/ Houbolt Rd and is at a light controlled intersection, Goes north across a set of tracks and you can get on 80 at 127, about a mile and a bit more east of 55.

    Late at night and early morning, before traffic picks up, it is a viable fuel stop for someone north or south bound on 55, but if you are on 80, you should get fuel before you get to 55, there are Pilot(some Road Ranger but Pilot fuel and point system west at 122 Minooka, 112 Morris, 93 Ottawa, 77 La Salle, and 56 Princeton.

    Was in the Pilot Channahon on Saturday. The Illinois Department of Health shut down all water related items excect for the bathroom due to a dangerous bacteria being present in their water supply. So no Dunkin Donuts coffee, no subway apparently, no fountain drinks. They had a big jug of bottled water to make the pilot house coffee, that was it plus the cooler beverages. And apparently the showers are out of service because of the bacteria as well. Yeah, avoid that place like the plague.
