I am curious, have any of you guys tried the led head lights? Are they worth the coin? I'm tired of the dim dengy headlights.

Philips x-treme vision headlight bulbs work really well if you have bulb style headlights.
I have an 05 379 I put replaceable bulb style headlights, made by Crystal, then used the Philips x-tremes in them.
The LEDs cost around $160-$180 per headlight, and I guarantee you a rock can still break the glass. The Crystal headlights run about $35 per, the x-tremes run about $35 a pair. That's a cost of $210 for 4 headlights compared to $600 plus for 4 LEDs.
No I haven't tried LEDs, because I know I'll end up breaking them over time.

Awesome I will have to give it a whirl! That sounds very reasonable! Honestly I never thought about breaking the glass on one of the LEDs. That would suck with how pricey they are! Thank you!

Yes they fit. Lots of stars running around these parts. All have them.
Bar none, best lights I've ever had. And I've ran perty much all of them.

I noticed JW speaker just updated the 8800 series to a 8800 Evolution series. Low beam is 40-50% brighter than the original 8800.!

P.S. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a set.

    Wow!!
I just checked those new 8800 evos out. Nice!!!!
i just have the reg 8800 in both trucks. And couldn't be happier. They are out standing lights.
They are pricey , but seem to be coming down now. I'll never go back to normal halogens of any kind after having used the led.

Let us us all know the results after you get your new lights in. I know your gonna love them. !
