I know some individuals that have them, I do not. For me its kinda not wanting to #### where I sleep. Ive yet to find a ts or rest area that wasnt somewhat kept clean. I find more shippers and receivers whos facilities are downright disgusting. It is what it is, if you really need to go you can either prep for it ahead of time, take a bite of the proverbial #### sandwich and use a ts or rest area, or plant those cheeks firmly on the ditch side of your drives and let it fly. Youll wanna keep some decent paper on board, but then you run the risk of your drives smelling like ####, or someone rolling up on you while doing the deed. Take your pick.PouringBeard and Jimmy797 Thank this.

I had to shot on BFE Arizona once on a state route. She flew alright lol.

Gunner, thanks for all your great info. Regarding your previous statement about maybe training or dedicated. Is deere considered dedicated and what would the requirements be to get on it?
-
Deere is dedicated, its also specialized, takes 2 years safe driving to get on. You'll be out a minimum of 3 weeks at a time

I had my first dot inspection, a level 1 in Virginia on 81 north in troutville. Passed it, but I got hit on an inop abs light. Turns out that the light was burned out, I had it fixed right away, but he said it wasn't working when he initially checked it. No points for it.

Yup. It sounds a LOT like a tech. school that I went through in the military. It was an elimination based course that was used to weed out people for a longer completion based course. The wash-out rate was over 50%.
I'm perusing this thread at the moment. My completed package is sitting at the board for a decision at the moment. I shouldn't have any issues there (knock on wood). Looking to start training 12/1.
What is the company policy regarding beards? i.e. No beard, neatly trimmed, etc.Last edited: Nov 15, 2014

Bubba, beards are acceptable. I have a full beard as do many others. Some are not what you would call "close". Just don't show up looking like an outlaw and you'll be fine. If you like to wear a bright purple pony tail on your chin adorned with glass beads and colorful rubber bands or if your rocking the full on ZZ Top with corn row braids, you might want to check with your recruiter before making the journey to orientation.Last edited: Nov 15, 2014

Haha. Yeah...my beard isn't out of control. Thank you for your response.

They ask that beards be nearly trimmed, or at least an attempt. As adjust mentioned, don't look crazy and you'll be fine
