Well said; it REALLY wound my spring that a brand new driver who couldn't figure out how to check brake lights by himself (in a separate thread).........all the sudden is a Road Scholar and know EXACTLY what should be done in this instance. No wonder the lady hasn't posted an update.

Just want to say I'm sorry for being so rude before ,I was up all night and as everyone knows I HATE when people do leases without having proper business sense since it dissuades other drivers from starting a successful business .

Other than the fuel tank and headlight assembly what truly needs fixed to go down the road. I see freighliners all the time missing side fairings and front bumper covers. It will look awful but is it possible to patch the old girl up and fix the rest latter. Its hard to tell just how bad the damage is from the pics other than the obvious of course. Wish u well and hope u figure something out.

Update: Truck is repaired, back on the road. Can't say the same about the relationship. When you sit at home for weeks and sometimes months at a time things cross your mind.I thought about scenarios from a lot lizards pimp doing it to him just out right lying.Things just didn't add up or make sense. We are now over $2600 in the hole and he keeps nickel and dimeing us with "advances" just to get by.I have a cleaning company, but this time of year sucks for my business.(Winter months are mostly long term snowbirds from the north , not weekly turnovers) I cannot stand the fact that I just don't know. But only time will tell. Thanks to those who replied and be safe out there. XOXO ~Princess~

You are suffering from the same ailment the many truckers wives do. They hear stories about the girl in every port. The lot lizards and then the questions in the mind come forth. The absolute trust begins to crack around the edges. then your attitude begine to erode adn then you long time relationship is in jeopardy. Unless your relationship was not secure when he began trucking I think that you need to just relax, encourage him to learn, be safe and it will work out. What ever you do don't harangue him aobut not having any money, bills that are due, things he has no control over will do nothing but cause him to make some poor decisions. Love your man, support him and encourage him. You will make it. . As an after thought. If you have a good LP there should be a clause in it that allows you to turn truck back with out penalty. it is called a walk away clause. If so relax,
    Life will get better.

You can come along with me Bunky. I have money. We can stop anytime and I'll buy you a Big Mac without even thinking about the money. Hell, you can even have a box of chicken nuggets too. On the weekends I'm talking a box of wine with your name on it.

Have a big garage sale then move to Las Vegas.
Leave the forwarding address with hubby's dispatcher.
Plenty of jobs there; construction is slowing down due to lack of skilled construction workers. Those two new resort casinos will need 8,000 new workers for those operations. They're huge; one costing over $7 billion and the other around $3 billion.
Cheap rent and plenty of jobs including trucking.
