Just wanted to know how often your DAC reports are updated. Does your employer report to them whenever they want to ? Or is it a monthly or weekly report?

They send info to Dac when you quit, get fired, or screw up.

I don't know about being late and that. You can get a free copy of your report at: www.hireright.com. Your report is probably updated when you leave the company.

    ANYTHING is reportable on dac.

dac will report ANYTHING your company wants it to report. dac doesn't care.

if your company wants to report you for whatever reason. dac will do the job. and carry that information for the rest of your life.

don't beleive in that 7 year myth. my very first company still resides on dac after 15 years.

DAC will happily rat you out for your abuse of a ham sandwich if your carrier reports it.

Seems like unfair advantage to companies over drivers. Who reports the info your dispatcher ? Or someone higher up the chain.

    Yes, to all.

You do have the right to dispute anything they post on your DAC. It's controlled under the Fair Credit Reporting Act... the same law that establishes the credit bureaus like Equifax. If there's something that's particularly bad and false on your DAC that's preventing you from being employed, your best course of action is to consult an attorney. If you can't get them to pay attention from disputing a claim, a certified letter from an attorney threatening a lawsuit usually does.

Those are known as service failures. It depends how many late loads you had and what was the reasons that would determine whether companies hire you or not same with refusing loads.I don't know who exactly reports to DAC but my guess would be the safety dept.

if you work for a company that doesn't use DAC (even thought I don't belive they exist) and you and the company part ways (for some reason) and go to work for a company that does pull your DAC and its missing there can your new company call you a liar?
