Hey guys\gals it's been a little while since I last posted. After a 2.5 year stint at the big company to go to a local/regional automotive company, after about 3 months in, I am starting to miss the otr type deal. The only thing I really don't miss about OTR is the unstable pay. I love the adventure part and the going to different places. Nothing like seeing the open road, and meeting new and interesting people you can't beat that. With that all being said, I have been every where except the Pacfic Northwest, upper great plains, vermont and Maine. (I don't want to go around this time of year) but like I said I love trucking, not being isolated. Just wanted some of y'all advice and I know I got to pray about it.

If you do go back otr, go solo, you had enough fun dealing with different team drivers and their issues. good luck

Pick a good company that has Tripac APU's so the breaks and downtime are better.

    Lessors Inc.
    Holland Enterprises

They both hire in areas of Michigan. If you're a little outside the hiring area, ask anyway.

Indian River Transport is another; don't know about APU's.

All 3 of these companies run 48 states and regular Pacific Northwest.

Welcome back; thought you went AWOL.

If you want to have a see America adventure with paid food, rooms, and swag get off the beaten path of Freddie the freighthauler.

Apply to a company hauling entertainment equipment.
