Parked Here for the Night

I Am in Athens ga. after unloading tomm. d.h. over to Montgomery al. then a load going all the way to Ontario cali. pretty nice run. I think they gave it to me after going through vail pass east in that snow last week. chain laws. blach.

 

I'll be poking around in Athens, Ga tomorrow too, delivery at 0600 then reload about 4 mi away before heading to WV. Sitting in Perry at the moment watching the little souls of recently expired poultry come out the plant smokestacks toward chicken heaven. Some of the remains will be in my trailer when they wake me up.

 

Was the broker CH Robinson by any chance...? They are notorious for doing that... Unless you talk to the agent responsible for the load... and even then... I get kinda "nervous" when I can't confirm or reschedule my loads with the customers by myself...

 

I hear you man... Had I known before I scheduled orientation about PeopleNet and that my co. doesn't allow us drivers to edit anything at all on elog, I would have taken a little longer to make up my mind...

 

Oooohhh.... I got truck and trailer washed at Blue Beacon around 19:00 central time last evening... Was going to park at my co. terminal nearby for the night but freaking elog didn't allow me to use my remaining personal conveyance miles.... So, I stayed right there.... found a nice and quiet spot on the back row... Left this morning at 7:30 am....

 

My co. did all the repairs this afternoon...
Got two new windshield panels, a brand new PeopleNet, new fuel filter and they checked brake adjustment...



Now I am parked at the terminal.... there's NOBODY else here... only trailers and a couple of bobtails with no drivers...

This new PeopleNet is SOOOOOOOO MUCH FASTER than the old and sluggish one I was using before... this is a nice improvement...

Folks will be here tomorrow around 7 or 7:30 am and I'll start rolling again... going somewhere.... Hopefully very far away from northeast...

Sitting here in Smithfield , VA waiting for my trailer to be washed out and then I guess its off to Ruthers Glenn , VA so I can get some food and a shower . I may even have time to sleep. Hahaha

But first I have to do some coloring in my book. Its gonna be fun trying to try and stay in the lines
