Hey there, I am fresh out of school and want to pull tankers. Can anyone tell me where Schneider's Bulk Division hires from?
I live in California currently on the central coast (fours north of greater Los Angeles area, four hours south of San Francisco bay area).
I am planning on relocating to either the greater Phoenix, AZ area, or Las Vegas NV area as soon as I can start working and putting some money together.

Use tanker for keyword.

What ever they promise, get it in writing. My bro worked for them on dryvan 1st year. Never got 1 fuel bonus even in cool weather. They always had an excuse, and would accuse him of not using cruise etc. He ran Carlysle Pa- Pittsburgh Pa- the Valley in TX with light loads too, mostly toilet paper and stuff for Wallyworld. he'd drop in Carlysle and some one delivered it to N of Scranton, ety to Pgh and then to TX. Liked the job, new trucks, but pay was 30 CPM. I think they have a bulk yd in Savannah GA and Atlanta and do park in Carlysle maybe but understand you can use all their terminals. Maybe someone will correct me. It would be a good way to become an OO after you got 3 yrs in.

Try to find a small local carrier. You don't want to work for them..

Quick update. I sent an email to Schneider's bulk division. I couldn't find a specific address for anyone in recruiting so I sent an email to a general address for customers and just applied to a random dry van job in SoCal so they would have my info handy. To my surprise, someone had read it and sent me a personal email saying they would forward my information to a recruiter. A couple days later I spoke with the recruiter and one other one as well, both told me the same thing, they do not hire out of California for the bulk division. I asked about Arizona and Nevada, same response. I was told I would need to live in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Texas. The only exception is if they have the specific job listed on their website in some other location but they again specified they do not hire bulk drivers from California. They did ask if I would be interested in the dry van side, but Id really prefer a tanker gig. So Schneider is a no go. Thanks for the ideas though guys
