shooting skip

I have a ssb radio and on my texas star and have never even tried it out.

 

I love the dooshbags that talk that channel 6 babble on 19, trying to work skip, they are always "waving the hand" and "just got down" whatever that is supposed to mean LOL

 

Or, "Bye-bye-bye-bye-bye"....Then they keep yapping! LMAO

 

That would be a nice SSB setup..

 

I was in Florida today and talked to Colorado, Texas,Iowa, Kansas, Wisconsin.

 

When I was shooting skip FL and TX were the two states I did the best in..

 

Good for you 6 speed. What is so funny about this thread is a few that CAN'T talk skip, don.t understand the lingo but still want to come to this thread and talk down on skip shooters. They probably can't talk across the street and obviously are green with envy. I talk across the country every day and quite often to other diesel cars. It is a lot of fun and helps pass the miles away. AND, I just got down.

 

Skip was rolling hard in Flori-duh today but I didn't even key up and try...

Im afraid my barefoot Stryker 490 HP would get duck plucked.

Buddy, you dont have a clue about "skip-shooting". I talk to hams in places like central and south america and europe every day. And i do it without a hacked up, overmodulated cb driving 3 junk ####-box amplifiers splattering up and down the spectrum. And i just got down.... lol

 

Well whoppie do, good for you. Glad I don't have one of those radios like you described. I just like to enjoy what I have at the technical level it is at without putting others down.
