I have a connex 4600 driving a davemade straight 4. I like the way it sounds and it has around 200 dead key watts swinging right around 545 watts. I'm putting in another radio set-up into one of my other tractors. I was gonna put this same equipment in but my driver wants me to put in a galaxy 94 driving the amp. I've done a little research the two radios seem comparable. Does anyone own a galaxy 94? Do you like it? What kind of juice are you seeing? I can put up to 200 watts into the box. The amp sounds it's best when you put in about 160-170 watts. The connex 4600 seems to be the stronger radio no?

Well, Largecar, this has me confused. I have run different radios and amps for 40 years and never seen one the could take 200 watts into the box. My last Fatboy was did it's best with 51/2 to 6 watts in. Originally I got about 330 watts but after chancing to a t unable capacitor it jumpted to about 390. Current Fatboy will bust over 600 with 31/2 to 4 watts in from radio. I run the cheaper radio (Galaxy DX939with modified modulation (no echo), nice size Fatboy through Preditors mounted in a unique way. I don't think you should have a concerne if your driver wants a 94.
