WOW.... lately I come here and there are lots of postings... and I don't have enough time to read it all... much less post comments...
I am rushing again...
Was unloaded in San Diego today and reloaded at the same dock... Had to put pressure on the folks cause they were taking too long and l am on elog and was planning on resetting... and my hrs were vanishing quickly, and there are no places to park a truck nearby San Diego...
Loader complained that he didn't have time for lunch... Well.... sorry... but I called their office yesterday and they "guaranteed" my reload would be ready as soon as they emptied me... and I arrived at my scheduled appt. time...
So... I left the place in such a hurry that forgot to get the signed copy of BOL... But I'm sure they will be able to fax it to my co. as soon as possible...
Now I am at a truck stop with a casino in CA...



Maybe FatDaddy nows this place... although he said hasn't been in CA lately...

Going to OK... Broker "convinced" me that customer really needs this load as soon as possible... So, I decided not to reset this weekend and will deliver on Monday morning... But then, will gain only 4:25 hrs on Wednesday... Oh well...
Gotta go to bed now... running late... Will get up at 3 am... You all take care and be always safe...

 

I'm doing the same. Except I'm much closer here just outside Talledega AL. Checked out the local tavern here down the road from the truckstop (no I don't drink under dispatch but I'm a sucker for bar wings). Scratch singing Sweet Home Alabama IN Alabama with a bunch of happy folk celebrating the weekend off the bucket list. Lol

 

California is a little fuzzy and I'm not too upset about it. Lol. All I know is last time I was there both truckstops in Ontario were TA's.

Calling it a night at the Love's in Ellensburg, WA, had to put chains on to get over Snoqualmie Pass and Im exhausted.

 

Parked at the wife's house this time. Not sure how much longer. Took 2 months to get back through here so may be looking for a new wife soon. May try to man up and get a smart phone today. I'm so nervous, but that transflo ap will help out. Well You guys be good should be here in okc till tomorrow if she doesn't kick me out sooner. Made it here with 14minutes left on the 70. Heading to Houston for Monday morning. We gone for now. But you know we will be back. C ya~~~~~~~~~
