Good Night From II

Here in Plant City. Pulled in and found out that they have no record of Command calling and setting up the appointment. Also they have to record of even a appointment for yesterday. So now it is a work in. Took them 3 hours to load. Wonder how long to unload. Owens pplan out of here going all of 700 miles for Monday. My DM is going to try for a t-call in Memphis but doubt it. What would I get out of Memphis on a Monday. This looks like a real suck week and so will next week with home time on Monday, the 1st. Every time I get close to home before hometime this happens

 

Hauling load up to Mehoopany, pa was supposed to deliver tonight but traffic and a flat tire say otherwise. Im at hickory run service plaza on i476 north. And its pretty empty for 7:55 at night. Parking is so easy on Fridays lol. Have a good night all, be safe!!

 

Babysitting the truck while the new window is installed at JV. They called an outside service to do the install. Hopefully this one will be done right.

 

Drunk at home, Steve makes good margaritas. He'll be back OTR soon than home for turkey day and a honey do list of Christmas stuff that will make him happy to be back in his truck. Maybe I should decorate it for the holidays too.

 

Back to OTR already. Same DM??

 

Ah, the P&G drop yard. Been there more than once. Hopefully the mud in the dirt drop lot will be frozen...

 

jurupa terminal. took all day for one trip yesterday. picked up at pepsico in san beernardino and did loaded call. got a message saying trailer is on another load. took about 45 min to fix. got to final(united western grocers in sante fe springs) and am at rite address but differant company name(tapitio mkt). walk into receiving and they said yeah, its their load. called fm and he said wait dont deeliver it. gonna call csr. i got there about 3 hrs ealry from appt and had planned to walk to get lunch. didnt happen. didnt get the ok till 30 min b4 appt time. was 2 trucks in front of me and had only one dock. waited anotheer couple hrs before i got in. didnt take long to unload me. oh well. now sitting here waiting for a load

 

luis(fm) had offered me a local position a few weeks back. saying he was picking 3 drivers from the driver on the walmart blits. asked him again yesterday and he said it was still open. that it wouldnt start till the blitz is done( around christmas) i said i would be interested if it was only days. he said he would look into it. also told him i need enough notice to find an apartment nearby. he thought i lived in adelanto. said no.. that i'm a working homeless person he got a laugh out of that lol. but its kinda true

 

Little America in Flagstaff, AZ.

I t-called a load in Phoenix this morning, and picked up a t-called load going to NY.
I'm t-calling it at the Columbus terminal on the 26th.

I've been pretty lucky with the loads the past week or more. Nothing over ~22k, with this mornings load being 7k and my current load being 13k.
I'm glad it delivers on Wednesday. It'll give me over 3700 miles for the week.

 

Warner Robbins, GA. My unload last night, about 4 hours. This is my second Command load in a row where it has been messed up on both ends, loading and unloading.
