I pissed, now my entertainment is gone. I want a refund on my popcorn!

 

Now that you got his new recruiting thread shut down and got the admins to ban his account, I have only one thing to say to you...

 

didn't know he got banned as well.......but, hey he was 2 for 2 as far as starting threads and having them shut down......
like my dad used to say, "It may not be a record, son, but it's one heck of an average!!".

 

I saw that new thread he put up last night before it got deleted and was thinking to myself "I wonder how long this one will last"... LOL. Looks like they actually banned his account too. Not surprised though.

 

I don't know the guy and will probably never meet him or talk to him. But my guess is he's probably a pretty decent guy in person, again just my assumption.

The Internet in all it's forms and forums can bring out the worst in so many. There are few people who, in person, would say to others what they so easily, thoughtlessly and rudely write on the 'net. Insults, fabrications, half-truths, lies, challenges - it's all part of the discourse so common on the 'net today. It reminds me of (when I was much younger) the increasingly stupid behavior and discussion in a kids bar just before last call. Beer muscles growing in inverse proportion to brain function.

And just like the erosion of the conversation on JH's thread it is almost always pointless and without a shred of value. Let's all pledge to keep this thread and all others we contribute to mature, polite, and keep our comments on topic.

Finally, may all of you have a safe and sane week. There will be lots of amatures on the road for the holiday. It's up to the professionals to do everything they can to help everyone get where they're going without incident. Drive even more defensively than you normally do, expect the unexpected and get home to your families. That's the best gift a professional driver can give their families and everyone we share the road with.

I am still trying to figure out what he did wrong. His account and thread getting shut down has kind of soured me to TTR. Which saddens me as I have been using this place for years, and it has yielded a lot of good information. It seems to me that he gets antagonized; takes up for himself in a much more restrained way than I could ever do; then he's the #######. I don't do a lot of posting. I just typically read and don't say anything, however, in this case, I felt compelled. That is all I have to say.

 

my guess would be and I didn't even see the last thread that I guess but my guess would be he got banned for recruiting not for necessarily what he was posting but for the fact that the Mods could tell he was recruiting.

 

He got antagonized by a couple of others and just couldn't let it go... He was told to let it go, but couldn't...

It was his thread and it had some good information on it, but guess he went beyond the rules on this forum..

If a company is willing to pay their drivers for recruiting, I really don't think they would turn down that extra money but forum rules do prohibit this... Seen this happen on other threads too..

DFO seems to have his hands full working on this truck and getting it ready to put it on Choice again.. A couple of others post good info too but not as detailed as Jar-Heads posts..
