If you look at the factory antennas, if they are the fiberglass kind, you will be able to see a few different areas on the antenna where the wire is coiled. These smaller areas are where the AM/FM, Weather, and TV signals are rec'd or trapped. A regular CB antenna will only have the coiled wire near the top.
