When I was talking with Dougal up in Carlisle one time I remember he mentioned that the uprate was done at the suggestion of the shop when he had the truck in and they replaced the original turbo, I think to generate a little more heat during regeneration cycles. Since it was the suggestion of the shop it was approved by SFI. Normally that kind of modification would not be allowed on a lease truck, I remember finding out from another driver that had asked that question about uprating and was told no.

I uprated my two previous trucks and never said a word to SFI. Just had the shop do it. And paid out of my pocket. Cost me a hundred dollars at a dealer.

You can buy a sleep number that will fit the freightliner Cascadia bunk. Just buy a twin xl. Same really goes for any mattress you want. The size in the Cascadias are twin XL. Thermopedic, Sealy, etc. Just FYI

Or just go with a twin size mattress. That way your not paying extra for speciality sheets. The twin xl only adds 5inchs.

Last night in NC the Thanksgiving day forecast was a high of like 35*, low of 28*, and snow.

Now it says 50*/28* and raining

Tomorrow it will probably say 65*/45* and sunny.

Yea my shaker keeps on rolling, doesn't use a drop of oil, and just got an upgraded mattress. Pretty comfortable and pay my bills.

My EVO has only 15,000 miles on it, it's real tight. Love it, except for the sleeper ergonomics.
