Shower Power

Swift dumped PFJ as a vendor a couple of months ago. I wonder whether other large carriers have followed suit? PFJ's shower promotion might be something of a reaction to losing business.

Personally I don't see the point with 5 or even 10 day "Use it or lose it" policies. It makes no sense at all to me. We've paid for the fuel and earned the shower credit. It punishes drivers for taking time off the road.

 

even before they started this, if you got at 50 gallons each day, you would also get 1 shower credit for that fuel transaction.
Even then showers stayed on for 7 days.
I take 6 days off, still have one left when i'd leave the house,. then get another every day when i would fuel

About the time that Shower Power hit, my company started sending me to TA a lot more often. Since my company doesn't care about showers but cares deeply about the bottom line, I wonder if J raised prices/lowered discounts on fuel to pay the water bill?

 

Shoot my company shut cards down to nothing but pilotJ's aroind then.

 

Cashier at the Pilot in Laredo hooked me up with a free shower under that promotion.

 

The 1/2 shower is so you can shower with a buddy. New system to save water. Each use 1/2 shower coupon and now you have a shower buddy. Hope u not afraid to see and names fat dude. Lol

 

One shower credit for a min of 50 gallons each day.
