BoyWander, Is the broker your working for looking to bring on any other agents? I am looking for a shot in
a small brokerage. Look forward to your response.

If you do decide to work for a brokerage before going at it yourself, be very wary of non-compete clauses in your employment agreement with the brokerage. Most will contain something that says you cannot work as a broker for yourself or someone else within a certain distance of where you brokered before, and within a certain timeframe (usually 1 year) from when you left the company. These clauses in the employment contracts dont always hold up in court, but its best to go on the safe side especially if you'll be starting your own authority.
