I have a love/hate thing with Lancaster. Love the home cooked food and hate being anywhere in the planners clutches.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Effingham, IL at Petro.
I'm just about to check out the buffet.
Last year I couldn't find a buffet that looked very good, I'm hoping this one is better.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! -
Oh im thankful for a lot of things
Ended up only being 3 loads going out today so was easy for me to get the day off, my wife told the planner on my facebook if he gave me the day off she would bake him a pie, he thought it was a joke but she asked him what kind of pie he wanted lol.
Sitting here just relaxing, wife is doing the cooking and cleaning etc even when I offered to do some. -
Here at the T/A in London, OH. Starting this new gig and not real sure already. A dry store load that delivers at 2100 tomorrow night in Amherst, NY, all of 350 miles after finishing up a 360 mile load here.

FJ in Sayre ... another Denny's Thanksgiving ... I think next year I'm going to cook my own in the truck. I know I can do better than Denny's.

Last year I had to cook in the truck, but this year at this Petro I managed to get a pretty good turkey dinner.
The stuffing was crap, though, so I didn't touch it. I could teach them a few things about stuffing.
But I'll be home in a few days to cook a good and proper turkey and stuffing dinner.
I'm hoping my sister can acquire a nice 22-23 pound fresh turkey, without all the added garbage to make it 'more juicy'. -
I've gotten to the point I won't go near the Lancaster planning area without a backhaul from Command. It helps that I found a way to get an MT despite Lancaster's efforts not to find me one.

She should manage to pick one up possibly a tad cheaper too but not always, you dont find fresh in many places though.
I usually dont care for turkey, only way I really liked it in the past was deep fried and injected with cajun marinade. My wife picked me up a ribeye this morning from the store but I might feel a little guilty being the only person enjoying steak
Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Well, Thanksgiving is all about THANKS!
So thank your wife in all the right ways for being so considerate.
And everyone else is probably REALLY enjoying what they have as well.
Don't feel guilty just because you prefer something a little different.inkeper Thanks this. -
