You will have to check with miller for up to date info on this one... When I signed on they did have some type of 3rd party overpriced underinsured program that even they did not recommend.
-
I live in Greensboro, what are the areas miller run? Lets say I just want to run down south, will that be possible?
-
Subject to run all 48 and Canada... You would have to check with Greensboro on that one.

Coyote,
Is Doug B. still the terminal manager in Gbo?
Also, are you from East LA or West LA (east LA, myself). Either way, I'm guessing you run out of Prichard? -
Yes... Doug is still TM of Greensboro... West LA... Yep88 Alpha Thanks this.

Doug was the recruiter when I called almost 2 years ago. Spent quite a bit of time on the phone with him. He has not always pulled a tank but he sure seemed to catch on pretty quickly.
Fate would not let me pull the trigger back then, and for personal reasons, I'm glad I didn't, but now it appears the situation is resolving itself. I continue to look long and hard at both sides of Miller (company and lease) and when the time is right, I will go to Jackson. I could ask you a boatload of questions, but that would end up making it an even bigger temptation.
Best of luck. -
He was my first contact at miller as well...you can do well with miller on both sides... I'm just too hard headed to be a company driver anymore. Good luck88 Alpha Thanks this.

How about the fsc, I know its 100% to the driver. My question is how is the fuel taxes paid. Do they average the taxes based on fleet average or are they paid on a individuals mpg. Does anyone know what the average mpg is?
-
With my company which I'm leased onto, the FSC is in reality part of the gross rate that's negotiated with the customer, so as far as I'm aware, the fuel taxes are paid on your fuel receipts whether you use the company fuel card or your own card. My company pays those taxes, so I just hand in my fuel receipts pertaining to my fuel card.
