That Cat 330 seems big for a 6 axle rig. How much weight?

Cpape, I saw your 6 axle setup on 80 Tuesday, along with probably 4 or 5 other trucks of yours. That 6 axle is sharp lookin!

In CO on the drives you can go 50k on a tandem plus if they are drive axles you can get a 5k bonus and then 65k on the tridem so he can probably gross a little over 130k. The 330 is probably around what 78-79k tops

    281ric Thanks this.

Well looking at the Ritchie Bros. website. Depending on the model they go from 74300 up to 77300 shipping weight..
So a lite 6 can do it plus he's in Co. they are a little more liberal with the weights
Oh hope you and your family had a good Thanksgiving

Depends on how much you can get on your steer. As mentioned, you always get an extra 5k on your drive grouping. Drives:

    Tandem: 55,000
    Tridem: 70,000
    Quad: 77,000

(Colorado doesn't recognize axle groupings beyond quads)

    Trailer:

    Tandem: 50,000
    Tridem: 65,000
    Quad: 72,000

Theoretically, if you were capable of maxing the axles out, you could gross out at 140,000 on 6 in Colorado. 20,000 on the steer, 55,000 on the tandems, 65,000 on the tridem.

My empty weight is about 44,000lbs give or take a couple pounds, fuel, etc.

    Sleepy68 Thanks this.
