I seem to see those spider bungees fall off way more than the normal bungees. I have always used the normal and never had an issue and much cheaper to replace.

bend your hooks in a little bit. keeps em from fallin' off.

buy em out of season. they drop to about $110 a pair in the late spring and summer.
during chain season, they get expensive. -
