Try not to get over confidant ! I've seen new driver going for the drive test fail due to this, go with confidence, but keep your head, don't be in a rush, that's when mistakes happen, best of luck

Good advice. I just told my instructor that yesterday. When I said I'm ready I really mean ready to get it over with... I am totally nervous about the test. I just have a hard time staying relax in situations like this. Just left the range from doing alley docking and im Going again tomorrow.
Again thanks for the advice -
For me I need to slow down a little (read less confidant) and I should be ok.
Good luck

All in all pretty good.
I go for my state driving test 12/6/14. Nothing like getting up middle of night and running the air brake leak test, in cab inspect. & pre-trip in your head!
I am sure I will do well but till I do some (more) mock yard tests at school to get my 2 foot from line down, I have a hard time because of my eye (waiver) to judge thru mirror to back of trailer, I worry. If it was a dock you bump it would be no problem as you can also feel it.
So all next week at school I will be mock testing on the 2 test courses to make sure I get the 2 feet.
Also told I will go driving 2 times to hope to get my shifting the day cab trucks down as that is what we street test in. Sleeper cab truck I have no problems shifting. Been out on city streets & high way in heavy rain and sun shine, almost did snow/sleet Wednesday but stayed in the yard.
Last week I did finger printing for HAZMAT & TWIC and studying for HAZMAT test now also.
So how are you doing? I am guessing you have to remember to breathe when having issues (like me shifting) like I have to remember to do? It seems for me closer to test date worst at shifting I get!
Do you have a test date booked?
Send out any applications or some place you want to go with picked out?
I was told because of the waiver and have to stay in state I need license in hand before I could talk to Co.s but do have 3 or 4 picked out to talk to.
Now back to my hazmat studying

Today we finished the last 10 hrs we needed for classroom hours. Tomorrow I'm hoping we go on the range where we test at to get practice. My test date is Dec. 8th. My instructor always tells me to relax. He says I'm making myself nervous for no reason. So I try to keep that in mind. I've yet to get finger printed but the hazmat test is fairly easy. I read through the manual and then took the practice test on this website a few times. As for jobs we sent out a tons of applications today during class. I'm trying to get something local but if not Trans Am is waiting on me. So we shall see.
Don't over work your nerves. I'm sure your going to do great!
