    Check you mesurments first. Some trucks have the lights pre-spaced like they will have 7. If yours is not spaced for 7- don't move the outer - move the outer of the 3 cluster and use the outer as an anchor for your mesurements to keep the lights on each side in a straight line (giving you a v when done).

    I wonder if it will really matter that much if the outter 2 have a little more space than the inner 3?

    Here is the truck thats going to get the treatment.

    yup thats a nice truck, funny its clean as a whistle pullin that old dump trailer

    i like the 5 , keep 2 spaced out and 3 a little tighter

    oh and i call shotgun when you get down redo'in her:biggrin_25514:

    I actually like 5 with round horns but if you must loose the horns then do 7 and yes they must be spaced or they look stupid

    I keep all my trucks clean. Its a sickness. That trailer was a lost cause though... This is what she looked like when I was first handed the keys....

    Started the cleaning and polishing. All the aluminum was burnt up and white.

    Amazing what a little time and elbow work can do.



    I kind of like the round hrns too. Had then on the little white/red 379. I dunno.. we'll see what we have laying around the house and go from there. Not sure if horns will work at all with the look I'm going for though.

    Search "Peterbilt" on ebaymotors. There is one for auction right now that even has black wheels. Hope this helps......
