I have an interview with Fedex Freight a week from today. I'm curious of what to expect. But more than that, I'm curious of how long the hiring process is and what are the chances of actually being offered the position after I interview. I ask because my current employer is training me in tankers. So I'm making them no money and I'm only costing them money every time I go to work. I have enough income saved to make it just fine as long as there's a good chance of me actually being offered a job with fedex.

What was the application process like? How long after you filled out an application did they contact you for an interview?I ask because if you filled out an app and 2 weeks later they call you in then plan on a wait to find out.But if they're like ups they will let you know either way and during the interview they'll let you know when they'll call you if you're hired.

First question they ask is "have you ever rolled over with double or triple trailers?"

Road driver. I applied at 3 am and got the call at 2 pm the same day. Have talked to them before I had a full year of exp and they told me to apply again in a month and they would be looking for my application.

You go to the interview, if you do it right, they will schedule you for a road test, if everything goes well, right after the road test you will be offered the position, be sent to the physical/drug test, then it is just paperwork. I wouldn't quit my job until i actually sign the offer letter.
