Not looking forward to this week. Talked to a few store owners. They had record sales for the day on Friday. So delivery's will be hell on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. At least they will not work us over hours.

Sent JJ out tonight with a load so he is starting his week early after the Turkey day holiday.

Nasty crash this morning on I-24 near Nashville west bound will probably reopen around 5:00pm today. Looks like a container hauler ran into a FedEx truck.

On I-465 this morning I saw 3 vehicles laying on their sides within a 10 mile stretch. Tried to allow extra room as it was misting and only carrying about 1500 pounds and the more room I allowed the more vehicles wanted to get in front of me.

I know they have drivers ed or something like that over here and the kids should be taught to leave a lot of room around trucks but I don't see that happening.

Glad JJ runs his semi dedicated stuff now and hardly hits the interstates at all and most of his runs are overnight after rush hour and he gets back before the morning rush.

When I worked for an ltl company in Roanoke I ran overnights to pa and back. Loved it for the reason of no traffic. Now most of my work is strictly days up to 20 stops per trip around a lot of the bigger cities. I hate that part.
