Ok, I'm done derailing your thread now. Thanks again -
I liked the transition from the Marine Corp into trucking. It made it easier for me and definitely helped me adjust better. I need my time away from everybody so it was nice. Where are you stationed Big Gunz? Arty I'm guessing with the name?

Thanks Gunner for starting this thread, well done. I appreciate all of the info that has been posted. It has given me a very good insight about TMC & life on the road. I will be starting CDL training in February. Travel safe.
Gunner75 Thanks this. -
I've been truck this time since October 2010. I drove for a year prior to me going into the corp also back from 05-06. I took the troops to truckers course for my refresher to get me on with TMC. Great program and they make sure you know what your doing. I don't blame you for not wanting the responsibility of having to deal with marines like me and the other guys I was in with when we were Lance Corporals. I'd be wanting to bust some heads lol. 29 palms infantry Marines should be enough said on that.

Well, im back at the house. I developed a really bad toothache monday. Its kept me from being able to get a decent nights sleep. So i asked my FM to route me home. Since the load I was on was heading to Mansfield Oh, it wasnt a big deal. Im set for a dentist appointment in the am, and pretty sure I will be getting 1 or 2 teeth pulled due to complete neglect by myself. No one to blame but myself. Not sure what the dentist will do, or how this is going to affect my driving for the rest of the week, guess we will find out.
