    Also, my check engine light has come on twice this week. Doesn't stay on or flash just comes on stays a few seconds then goes away. I hit the override/check button on the dash and codes started to blink with the shut down and check engine lights, but I haven't found a guide or sequence chart on google yet. I'll probably pick up a scan gauge tomorrow from Napa or auto zone.

    According to the signature, its a 12.7 Detroit. When he gets the code, I rec he asks what the code means in the "trucks" section.

    Emission motor? If so check your egr valve. I have mbe4000 Mercedes and when my check engine light just flashed it turned out to be my egr valve throwing a code. Didn't effect the performance at all but the shop changed it just to be on the safe side.

    I didn't record them, they started rattling off real fast. I just bought the Scan Gauge D at Autozone. Unfortunately they have to order it in and I'll pick it up Friday or Saturday.
