I think theyre 14 7....I see them at the yard almost every day doing maintenance on the equipment. ...I do know that they stay at hotels when they're out in the field....some of their equipment, mainly the coil tubing unit is driven by third party company driver...thing is huge!

Thanks security58. I've been watching youtube videos of it and those reels look gigantic and the work seems pretty interesting. I'm going to try to get on either doing that or Cement.

For the Halliburton physical do you remember if you did sit-ups on on a sit-up bench or on the floor?

    Thanks I appreciate it.

I wish I knew a month ago then I would've been perfect by now haha. I can knock them out on a sit-up bench no problem but I struggle on the floor. Time to practice.

Yeah, I remember reading it too. But for some reason I didn't think it would be that many lol. I'm almost there. I should be good in a week or two. I'm just glad I know beforehand than going into the physical and failing.

In light of recent news, I have decided to put myself through CDL school (start this weekend). I am a full time state employee (currently reside in cubicle hell), so taking weekend courses. (takes 2 months at Roadmaster) I know they dont have the best reputation, as long as I get my CDL at the end of the day (and getting my tanker and hazmat as well). Pretty sure the extra endorsements wont carry any extra weight trying to get on with Halliburton, but at least the CDL A can go on my application. I've been trying to decide on an area, and curious if there are any folks in Northern Oklahoma lurking? (Blackwell, Burns Flat, etc.) Or even Duncan. A busy yard is important for obvious reasons (hours)... Has anyone dealt with a SLOW yard doing cement work at Halli?

Super Yard in EL Reno is (Pending) to open in March 2015; but if your insist yes there is a yard in Burns flat and Woodward. Now with the super yard opening in 2015, things could very well change.. ie Yard closures if I were a betting man I would say Woodward.

Thanks Seattle. Security58, I am making a huge move (both career and geographically)... My son (and his mother) are moving to Wichita this summer, and I want something within a reasonable commute. I want my work days to be just that...work days. Then the few days off I want to commit to him (and a reasonable distance means less travel time). El Reno would be perfect .. 3 hours. I can't wait to make the jump. 20 years in the military, I understand long hours and time from loved ones (actually enjoy the long hours). The career move makes good sense, and don't want to seem picky (as I know I will be lucky to get on anywhere). I would guess that a Super Yard would mean more employees... how does that effect the hours for the different cement crews?
