California.....I don't go outside the US😉
mc8541ss Thanks this. -
Mine was 265 in WB and 48 ft spread. < 65 ft . Got measured several times. Some states allow longer than 65, pulled 53 ft for Goodway for a year and no problem.
Stroked F550 Thanks this. -
Most states have a 65' limit. Check out individual states at: http://www.goodsamcamping.com/plan/sizelimits.aspx. and/or:http://www.rvsafely.com/rvroadlaws.htm

Thanks for the info, what is your kingpin setting on your trailer? -
I can tell you with my 265" wheelbase and a 48' trailer w/ 30" KP I was 69'+.
Wheelbase can be very misleading compared to overall length of the tractor itself. A set back axle like a Volvo or Pete 386 will have less wheelbase than a say a set forward Pete 389, but overall length will be similar.Stroked F550 Thanks this. -
Must be one of those "left handed" tape measures....my 265" plus a 48' with a 30" kingpin is over 70... -
lmfao. thanks for that!

do any of the manufactures of hydraulic tail trailers make their trailers with a king pin setting further set back then 18?
