I use cheap ($20) wrap ones that are polarized...pretty much keep them on until the sun sets even if it is cloudy, rainy or snowing. Thought about purchasing a pair of Costa Del Mar or Smith....but I seem to be rough on sunglasses.

Get the costa's I am rough on them but they are worth it.
GreenPete359 Thanks this. -
I wear Polarized Oakleys and have for a long long time. I prefer an amber to reddish lens with Iridium coating.
GreenPete359, D.Tibbitt, Raiderfanatic and 1 other person Thank this. -
Prescription Rayban wayfarers. But on days where I know I have to swap between clear and shaded glasses I use overshades. I got this awesome pair of old man glaucoma solar shields.

Oakleys work best for me. I have a big head and Oakleys are the only ones that are comfortable on my head.
Raiderfanatic Thanks this. -
I dig my Maui Jims.

Good idea to cover the side of the eye. Over the years can get some serious sun damage from sun coming in side of window. I had to have surgery due to that. Can even get eye cancer from the sun.
