Red is good to prepare your eyes for night driving. Military pilots wear red for a couple of hours before night flying.

Sunglasses you mostly get what you pay for.
    Irridium brown orangish Maui Jims
    Prescription brown Versachi with bifocals
    yellow RayBans
Something green from a bike shop I bought 11 years ago. The motorcycle and ski shops have some good glasses.
Also have other yellow, orange, brown, green and grey various makes from $60 to WM $ 5.
All of them are wraparound lens. Hate the big clunky side blinders. Which are in style again from the 70's for women.
Still look as stupid today as they did then... :0)

Had cataract surgery, eyes very sensitive to light. Yeah, all the different color glasses are in the truck. Seeing without eyestrain, squinting or whatever in all kinds of weather really helps. Found I prefer browns to greens or greys, but whatever works.

Y'all take care. And Merry Christmas.

Sorry if this posts 2x. Phone signal not always reliable. :0(

Oakleys! Any glasses that claim that their Polarized, yet cost $25 are crap. There IS a huge difference when you buy quality glasses.

I wish I had 20/20. I'm also a little light sensitive. My last pair was $350 during a promo sale with some other discount. I like polarized but it's hard to read digital screens of any kind. I'm on the fence with polarized on my next script.

Maui Jims have the most layers of uv protection. Cut glare well solid built frames. Don't scratch too easy. $190 or so. Sun glass Hut.

Hands down the best glasses for Driving are a pair of Oakley Turbines Prizm Polarized. Personally I hate how Oakley's look. But Oakley is unmatched when it comes to quality and durability, and the turbines cover all of your eyes and wrap around your head to protect your peripherals while not obstructing any eyesight. I'll link a video of how Oakley tests their glasses for performance. As well as a link for the Turbine glasses on Amazon and the Oakley Discount site for Military, Police, and First responders.
