To me it's important to establish value, no matter what it is. There's incremental theft of services in this industry on every load. A few hours here, a few extra miles there, now that busted case of creamer messed up the trailer and need a washout, on and on. Right now I'm waiting to get my empty trailer back and expect to see a torn up chute thanks to the shipper that stuffed a double stack in the nose of my reefer. I'll do a claim but I will be the one getting the repairs done right now while someone in NJ decides I must be a liar and won't pay.
Now you want to borrow my mobile service, sometimes without really asking, and potentially intrude on my privacy with an app you control? Um.. no.
On the other hand, offer me a gold plated rate and simply ask first. That would be a "yes."
Bottom line there is a heck of a lot of costs we don't have control over as much as we'd like. However, my mobile phone and internet service is totally in my control and not free for anyone to use.
They're only going to snoop the ones with the real nasty porn playing on them. Ask Bill.

I am sorry I agree with double and red here 90% of the problem is not even asking first and tracking the person not the load.
I expect highend loads to be tracked i remember when the 360's first came out had a truck load i was not allowed to stop for anything without calling in trailer stopped for more than 2 min would get cops called. I hit a backup and i called in after sitting for 3 min they said glad you called we'll call and stop the cops before they get to ya about 2 min after that had cop come up the shoulder and point and thumbs up me I noded and gave him a thumbs up he took off. But knew before hand and had no problem with it.double yellow Thanks this. -

Qualcomm? GPS. Cell Phone. XM radio. How many other tracking devices do you have. IF a thief wants your truck. I doubt they need Macropoint to highjack it.

As paranoia sets in, the parallels of a harmonious existence begin to vanish while bogged down by mental warfare with barbaric hackers disguised as human wolves lurking in shadows....
if you truely do not wish to be tracked lose the cell, and all online activity to start..
