At the Pilot in Oakwood IL on I74. Only 5 hrs to Madison Wi for a Monday appointment. Walked across the street to the 'Pitstop' to watch football and grab a bite to eat.... Might stick to the diet coke... Place smells funny.... Faintly of sewage....

Well parked at home till the a.m.

I got a funny story from my weekend .

I was in a truck and the guy whos truck it was came back and took his cb out . Now I knew that there was an old cobra 29 at my grandmothers house from back in the day when my grandfather trucked .

I went up to get it , pulled it out of the cabinet opened the box and seen a hundred dollar bill , and a bank envelop , opened the envelop and there was $1,000 cash in it . Lol

My grand mother got an early Christmas present from my grandfather who has been passed away now for get this 11 yrs almost ...

I dont care what anyone says . I was supposed to find that , and every thing happens for a reason...

I locked myself out of the truck (at former co.) a couple times... :biggrin_25526::biggrin_25510::biggrin_2552: First time I was at one of their terminals and it was no biggy... The second time I was enjoying time off, bobtail several miles away... doing shopping and going to beach somewhere in CA.... Locked myself out with allllll my things inside truck... :biggrin_2552: Had to use phone inside a store and called AAA... and they were able to open that door for me... :biggrin_25514: :biggrin_25519:
From then on.... I wear truck key around my neck from the time I get up till I go to bed... :yes2557::biggrin_25523:

Hey folks.... finally I am catching up with the comments here... Had been very busy... Taking a reset this weekend at a congested FJ in Dallas.... The same location I was a few weeks ago.... I don't like this place.... but it's the closest one to the receiver... an it's FREE! Oh well.... already gave $2.00 to a man who came to my window... Now I am keeping windows and curtains closed...

My co. allows us drivers to drive 20 miles on PC (personal conveyance) which is "off duty driving" if we need so... It can be helpful specially in utter emergency ... like trying to get to "safe haven.." However, if I am not mistaken, once loaded, it's not "legal" to do off-duty driving...

Hmmmmmmm..... LASAGNA.... :biggrin_25520::biggrin_25526::biggrin_25519::yes2557: I just had my meal here... but after reading the "magical words", LASAGNA... I felt hungry again... There's a Denny's here... I wonder if they have.... Oh... even if they do have... it may not be a vegetarian lasagna... :biggrin_25512: and considering all the crap they use in their food... white sugar in the tomato sauce, etc... I prefer to "stick" to my own cooking in the truck...
