My drivers side window has been going up and down at a snails pace for a long time, and now is on it's last legs. How nasty of a job is it to replace? I really don't want to go back to the dealership at $165 per hour unless it's going to be something that I can't or shouldn't tackle.
Anyone replaced a WS window controller?

If its the same as my 01 it will take less than an hour. I took mine out to fix a knock in the door.

Not bad to do at all. Half the time will be spent removing the trim and door panel. If your switch is really old,it might be a good time to replace it also. One of mine had slow and intermittent operation which was cured with a new switch.
