Well if your boss tells you to work and you say no, generally the outcome isn't too favorable. Just sayin...

I have to agree with both of you. Even if a company is pushing a driver to run illegal, if he/she stands up and says no, generally they are going to find a way or reason to let him/her go, or they will make life difficult so that he or she finally quits.

This is one reason why, while there are elements of e-logs that I don't like, I'm generally in favor of them as it keeps dispatch and operations a bit more honest with regard to the HOS laws.

I'd like to think it would be more difficult for a company to push you to run illegally nowadays. As drivers we're not the only ones faced with stiff penalties for running illegal or unsafe. The companies face repercussions also...that being said, Blackhorse is ALWAYS hiring in my area.

Some of you seem to think that any company who is hiring is a bad company. The company I work for is hiring. And in my opinion are a great place to work. We are just growing a little and need more trucks to keep our growing customer base happy.

Growth is awesome. Turnover not so much... Blackhorse may or may not be a good place to work, I've never been employed by them. A high percentage of happiness with a job is what you make of it.

I drive for Black Horse. I've never had a job as great as this one. I run out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I deliver auto parts. I make over $1000 a week. Pay is salary based on miles and number of stops. I have a delivery window so start and end times are totally up to me within reason. Work at my own pace. Good benefits. I'd suggest anyone work for Black Horse from my experience with them.
