Go to work for Roehl. You will regret working for Werner. Roehl is a good company. Werner is not. It's not about the "package". It's about being able to make a living.

FYI they have this neat little thing , it's called spell check , Now I'm settled down a bit after laughing quite hard , and realize you need to either use the spell check or invest in a pocket dictionary.

TruckerWife630, OPUS 7, loose_leafs and 3 others Thank this.

I havent declined Roehl's offer yet. Have declined all others, though. So, why do you say what you say? Is it based on personal experience, or scuttlebug? -
bubbagumpshrimp, Sik_Life and Hammer166 Thank this.

Werner and CR England. It's very hard to find anything positive about either one. Most people don't have to put their hand in a fire to know it's hot. There's always others who are going to be the 1 in a million and not get burned. I guess on the bright side they aren't Carolina Cargo.

Ah, it will probably cost less to fly to Russia and pick up a HazMat suit in the black market and wear it when I drive with my trainer.
At least Werner does not pair male nuggets with female trainers, since some of the things I've seen discarded by women at public places will churn the stomach of a Komodo dragon.Dave 1960 Thanks this. -
My company pulls Werner trailers as a power only operator on occasion. Gotta say those trailers aren't exactly in the best of shape.
Criminey Jade Thanks this. -
Werner guy craps himself in his truck.
So why don't you go ahead and proof read that for me and why your at it, go and check up and that truck for us and stick your head inside and take a big wife and let us know if everything's OK.Last edited: Dec 7, 2014

I see plenty of werner trucks everywhere I have driven with Roehl.
one thing most Roehl VAN drivers rarely do is get close to the rockies, which actually makes me a bit sad.
I have done a few runs to the Denver area but alas, now im in the northeast regional fleet so I guess I wont see that for now.
all in all, these folks have been very good to me, they are still very focused on safety and in my humble opinion are the best company for a new cdl holder.
that 13 days with a trainer is in phase 2, you have to get through phase 1s' 8 day "interview"/orientation training to see that.
good luck in your travels
