Shoot I'd rather pull a reefer. This #### box is boring! But it pays the bills. Course neither one compares to flatbedding IMNSHO! White Oak Station, Harrison Ar-Kansas for the evening. Kick this un off in the AM then try to find something worth doing. Gonna see if my bed is still comfortable. Y'all have a good un

Parked in the middle of Los Angeles, CA in a Home Depot parking lot... Boy do we feel safe! First of 20 deliveries at 0500... Right now I would love a nice grocery warehouse! LOL!

Sure you can. Just gotta find the right refer company.

I do produce from Cali/AZ to Cincy, then mostly Drop and hook stuff back.

There is some that is Live unload on the west bound, dispatch only sends me loads with Lots of dock time if I need to let my 70 recoup a bit. The main thing is we communicate.

Remember: Employment is a two way contract. It needs to work for BOTH parties or it is time to terminate it.

I actually miss reefer sometimes...not always, but sometimes...most grocery warehouses I went to you could stage there early, so you didn't have to worry about the clock, then you knew you had a good 6 hours in the door at 0200 so you could get a nice nap in while collecting detention pay....of course every load being 40K+ was a bit of a drag

We did reefer for a bit. Coast to coast mostly and our weekends were spent at our companies LA terminal waiting for our Monday pick up/delivery. We'd rent a car and tour the city.

Don't miss all the extra work but miss all the good Mexican food you find near these places.

I see... a bunch of reefer haulers here... What I do, I do for the joy... not for the money... And I like pulling the "boring" dry box... :biggrin_2559: Hey Cranky... don't worry.... I'll not post the list of things I don't like about reefer...
