Did roadtest and physical today. Went pretty good. Really like the Pete and that 13 speed. Tommorrow filled with company policys and all that fun stuff. Talked with some other drivers that have been with the company for a while. Seem to be happy and things look good. Western flatbed will b starting up soon, was told company drivers will get first picks. Got my name on list.

Good too know! How did policies sound?? Is there good miles for flatbed? I used to run flatbed in the Midwest area.

How did the policies sound?? Is western flatbed good miles? How is tarp pay? I used to haul for a flatbed company in the Midwest. Thanks!

Which policys. Most, similar to other companys but works for me. Most drivers tell me the miles are good. I'm happy with them so far.

Did they have a pet policy? Reimbursements? Detention Pay? Any extra pay? And are you allowed to take the truck home?
nice my miles currently are 1800-2000 so I'm looking to get more.

Yno pets. Detention depends on customer, tarp pay, stop pay, fuel bonus, i am in western division so extra if I run east, also, get layover and short haul pay. Rider policy after 90 days, can take truck home, I leave with my trainer tommorrow for two weeks. So far I like the company , will see howit goes. Should average 2700 to 3000 miles per week, but have talked to some drivers who are getting more.

    djmann.brooks Thanks this.

Sounds good! Only reason I wanted to know about pet policy was because I was thinking about getting a dog or cat. Gets lonely on the road sometimes! Haha! Does everyone have to go through training with a trainer for 2 weeks?? Even if I have flatbed experience? But that many miles would be fantastic!

I don't think so but not sure. Chose to go with trainer because I have no stick time, but picking it up pretty quick. Waiting on load in Sioux city.
