Any answer on western express

Ok. I'll go with it. Western Express pays low, no APU, no idling, and have a worse safety rating than USA Truck. With 16 years exp, you can do much better than Western Express. Try Abilene if you live in VA.

 

The large search bar at top left of the main forum page yields huge results.

6 threads alone on the first search page that have the name Western Express in them.

U can do it n good luck.

 

It wouldn't be surprise me ,they told you exactly what you wanted to hear ......that's what recruiters do , i would check their track records first , from what know ,they have alot of east coast frt. and they won't pay drivers right .....with 16 yrs exp. You can do better

 

They MIGHT put you on such a dedicated. The dedicated route MIGHT last until about the time you complete your orientation with Western Express. Or maybe you run that for a month until the contract ends. Then you will have effectively jumped out of the pan, into the fire.

My point is DO NOT DO SOMETHING STUPID at this point in your trucking career! You may need to change and move from USA but at least move in the right direction, not sideways or backwards. Forget about the dedicated lane because it will never pan out, think about who you're working for. Read up on Western Express here before you do something rash.

Find a real driving job man western express is a thief corporation they prey on stupid and desperate drivers if your one of them then be their guest and let the screwing commence.

 

And just cause you have 16 years experience doesn't mean they are going to cheat you less then the others .

 

I say do it then report back in a few months and let us know bad they suck.

 

Haha, those pictures were hilarious. Right underneath this very thread is a Western Express thread. Like others have stated - you have 16 years of experience! If your record is good then check here or go to a truck stop near your home to talk to drivers. You shouldn't have any problem getting on with anyone, just don't settle for the first choice.
